Local Housing Allowance paid direct to tenants, Does it work for you?

Both tenants and landlords alike are experiencing major difficulties due to the change in regulation of Housing Benefit payments.

Since April 2008, Housing Benefit payments have been paid direct to tenants. It is evident in alot of cases that this money is being misused and is not being paid to landlords as rent as intended. Feedback shows both tenants and landlords disagree with this new system.

We are trying to gather information which we may use to submit a dossier to the DWP in the hope that this regulation may be reviewed.
